Hotels We Love: Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, Italy

Childhood dreams achieved – I spent the weekend in royally beautiful Milano with two of my girlfriends and felt like princesses during our stay at the beautiful Hotel Principe di Savoia. Located in the heart of the city near the city’s main station, Stazione Centrale, this gorgeous hotel really offers a royal experience with modern, intentional touches… and a warm entrance and welcoming staff are sure to make you feel at home the moment you arrive.

All 257 rooms and 44 suites are equipped with the latest technology such as Wi-Fi, television and strategically placed outlets… perfect for modern entrepreneurial gals like us! I absolutely adored their bathrooms & high quality toiletries. I love when a hotel pays attention to little details like this. They really make a difference! We stayed in the Premium Room and it was perfect for the bunch of us, but the standard rooms are equally beautiful, quiet, and remarkably large.

The exclusive signature suites are mini museums to say the least. We had the pleasure of touring some of the rooms and we were blown away by the art pieces, design and uniquely curated furniture. But it wasn’t until we entered the hotel’s world famous Presidential suite located on the 10th floor that our jaws completely dropped. The room is popular with international celebrities and royalty. It measures 4,413 square feet with three bedrooms, a living room, muraled walls, a hallway, and the best part: a private swimming-pool emulating the Roman thermal baths of past. A stunning terrace wraps around the suite, offering views of the skyline of Milan.

Dining at The Hotel Principe di Savoia offers a five star Acanto Restaurant as well as the elegant Il Salotto lobby lounge offering everything from breakfast, lunch or dinner of Italian classics as well as international dishes. We had lunch at Il Salotto lobby and since it was a rainy day in Milano, we ended up spending the entire afternoon there getting work done and enjoying the comfortable atmosphere. The staff was so kind, always checking to see if we needed anything and incredibly welcoming as we camped out there to seek shelter from the rainstorm.

With the perfect blend of luxury and coziness. The Hotel Principe di Savoia is a gem and the perfect place to stay in the city of Milano.
