Adventure, Connection and New Beginnings with Intrepid Travel

The bulk of my travel since I began traveling in 2011 has been solo but as I evolve and grow as a person, I’m realizing that what used to make me happy is no longer serving me. My recent trip with Intrepid Travel confirmed what I’ve been feeling all along, as I traveled throughout Iceland with a small group of travelers from all over and had the best time making new friends, connecting and sharing incredible experiences with other humans.

If you’re in need of an epic adventure but have no one to go with and don’t necessarily want to go solo, traveling with Intrepid is your best bet! Intrepid Travel is the largest small group adventure travel company in the world and one of our favorite companies for many reasons but among them are: they’re a @bcorporation, sustainable and mindful small group travel company that offers authentic and incredible adventures and destinations all over the world. They also have their own foundation, which funds initiatives to reduce carbon emissions and work towards a sustainable future. It’s tryly one of the best travel companies in the industry.

The wonderful team at @intrepidtravel and I first connected back in early 2020, just before the whole world shut down when they invited me to speak on their Female Changemakers and Community panel for @dametraveler in NYC and before we got a chance to plan a collaboration together, borders were closed and the world remained at a standstill. But alas, we finally re-connected and I just got back from traveling with them to Iceland bringing back with me some unforgettable memories and beautiful new friendships.

For lovers of both adventure and comfort, Intrepid Travel offers Premium Trips which are focused on luxury and sustainability. We loved the Premium Iceland in Winter trip. Their Premium trips offer a higher service level at an excellent value. Follow along to check out some of the highlights of the trip!

Although Iceland during winter time is unpredictable and a bit of a challenge, it is remarkable and awe-inspiring to witness the Northern Lights, the epic frozen waterfalls beautiful snowy scenes everywhere you look and the folks at @interpidtravel made sure that the trip ran as smooth as possible despite weather issues.
