Once landing on its shores you’ll find yourself transported away from the grind of city life and in a whole new slow-paced lifestyle. Life’s good when you’re this close to the water! For city gals looking to make their way to Cape Cod, be sure to look up cheap ferry prices and hop overs from Logan International and JFK. Once here, you’ll find that the long subway rides and commutes will fade away in no time!

Is Cape Cod the perfect little New England beach town? It absolutely is in our eyes! This North Eastern gem is the perfect vacay for a traveler who’s seen and done the cliche tropical vacation spots, but haven’t enjoyed the pure splendor of New England’s shorelines. There truly is nothing quite like the seaside towns up north! Enjoy the absolute charming corners of Provincetown in between dipping your toes in the sand and enjoying an ice cream cone. See the classic Cape Cod architecture and cottages dotting the shorelines and forests. There’s seriously something so quaint and charming about Cape Cod and its many nooks and crannies.

Fresh Seafood & Foodie Gems

Cape Cod feels almost like a hidden foodie town! Be sure to find yourself a fresh seafood joint (there are tons around!) by the shore. Crack open some crisp wine or beer over lobster rolls and crab. We absolutely devoured our lobster rolls, appetizers, oysters and fries at The Lobster Pot and adored Wequasset Resort‘s delectable treats! Thank us later!

Cape Cod is flooded with absolutely stunning little cottages and B&Bs. Each one is special and absolutely tailored to give visitors the attention and love New Englander lodgings are known for. Forest-hidden cottages in the woods that lead to bay, shabby chic B&Bs in the heart of town and fantastically adorable hotels dot the area. There truly is a lodging for every type of gal out there in cute little Cape Cod.

I loved staying in the beach-y, yet modern and authentically cool Salt House Inn. Every detail of the inn zeroed in on the charm and hipster-chic quality of Provincetown! And if you’re a traveler akin to my own heart, you’d love their seasonal options and breakfast cocktails. I mean, c’mon!

Parks, Lighthouses & All Things Beach-y

This little peninsula boasts an amazing amount of natural beauties. From the quintessential New England lighthouses safeguarding the shores, well-kept parks to explore, whale watching and fascinating historic sites to dig deep into learning about. We loved seeing the eery, yet amazing Artemis shipwreck in the harbor in between sunning ourselves on the piers and shooting some gorgeous photos of Provincetown. There truly is something to explore for every one in this little peninsula! Flower lovers will love their Hydrangea Festival over the summer, nature lovers can book whale watching tours that will absolutely floor them, outdoor-enthusiasts can hike many trails and beaches. Cape Cod is bursting at the seams with outdoor goodness!
